Spiritual Divorce

spiritual-divorce1-300x199A divorce or breakup experience, whether harmonious or not, can cause a person to suffer physically, emotionally and spiritually. It rekindles fears in your inner child’s psyche and brings parts of you out you never knew were there – parts of you that were tucked away like a sleeping child which suddenly emerge as an out-of-control adolescent. Needless to say – everyone around you is affected.

As the dust settles and reality sets in, people don’t know how to let go of the imprints of Shame and Regret that are left on the soul; however, if one could take a divorce experience and look at it as a gift or as being a teaching moment – they would learn from it and allow new doors to open. Your pain and regret can actually bring a new understanding about the Human Experience. The breaking down of the relationship has actually broken down a part of you that can now be open for a greater purpose and a new future that you never knew was possible. The pain of a divorce or breakup breaks down our defenses; it leaves us in a place of vulnerability and it’s only from this place that we are open and still enough to experience something different – something greater.

If you’re going through a divorce right now, this could seem impossible! You could be having the worst experience of your life and you can’t even imagine that a divorce could turn into something productive.

Understanding a Spiritual Divorce or any breakup is to understand that there are 7 basic Spiritual Laws that can help you discover the reason you’re going through this pain. These Spiritual Laws will guide you through the process of healing and bring you back to a place inside that is filled with wisdom, knowledge , hope and compassion for yourself and the whole experience. As your Coach, I will guide you thru a healing process using each Spiritual Law and how it applies to your personal experience.

1.) The Law of Acceptance:  The first and possibly the most important Spiritual Law states that everything is as it should be -nothing happens by accident. There are no coincidences. Our lives are divinely designed for each one of us to get exactly what we need to support our own unique evolutionary process.

2.) The Law of Surrender:  When we stop resisting and surrender to the situation exactly as it is, things begin to change. When you can look at a situation and admit that you don’t know how to change it, then you’re ready to get the help you need.

3.) The Law of Divine Guidance:  God will do for you what you cannot do for yourself. When you get out of your own way and let go of your defenses, then the door of Divine Guidance will open.

4.) The Law of Responsibility: With Divine guidance, we can look at exactly how we participated in and co-created our divorce drama. We can understand and acknowledge how we chose the perfect person to teach us the perfect lessons.

5.) The Law of Choice: Having taken responsibility, we choose new interpretations which will empower us. We can separate from our partners and cut the karmic chords by taking back the aspect of ourselves that we projected onto our mate.

6.) The Law Forgiveness: After we have cut the karmic cords, we will be able to ask God to forgive us. Asking for forgiveness allows us to let go of our judgments and beliefs about what is right and what is wrong and helps us to find compassion for our entire self.

7.) The Law of Creation: Experience the freedom of forgiveness and open up the gates to a new reality. Forgiveness breaks all the cords that keep us tied to the past and allows us to experience an innocent heart filled with love and excitement for life. This is the time to create a new future one that is going to be grounded in Your Divine truth.
